Preventing Baldness the Natural Way

Baldness affects many men and can have a profound affect on their confidence and outlook on life. For many men, losing their hair is a sign of impending old age and loss of looks. It feels like your youth is slipping quickly away. It is a horrible, depressing feeling but don't worry. There are ways of slowing down or even preventing baldness.

Hair loss or androgenic apolecia is caused by the increase in hormone levels, DHT in particular which connects to the hair folicle disrupting continuous growth. It does this by essentially strangling the folicle and preventing it from drawing nutrients from the blood. Eventually the folicle gives up and whithers away.

So, the key to preventing hair loss is to reduce or limit the amount of DHT you are producing within your body. There are many drugs available on the market today that are created with this specific goal in mind. Drugs such as Finasteride are popular among many men but are not without the possibility of side effects.

The most highly recommended way to prevent baldness is to use herbal indredients. Mother nature always knows best.

The most widely used herbal remedy is saw palmetto which can be bought in many sites and is reasonably priced and well within financial reach of almost everyone. It is a natural DHT blocker and works very well to prevent or at least severely hinder the progress of DHT in the blood. Combine saw palmetto with a daily intake of pumpkin seeds which assist the liver in breaking down DHT and making it harmless and you have a natural remedy that will not suprise you with any unwanted side effects.

Don't despair. Mother nature has given you all you need to help you in your quest for preventing baldness.
